Pay me privately, with zero trace
Worried about your name, your bank, or a recognizable site appearing on a statement you'd rather not explain? Good news, paying me can be completely invisible to everyone but you and me.
Cryptocurrency lets you pay without any reference to me, my work, or this site ever appearing on your records. And while it may sound technical, most clients set it up in under ten minutes, and you only ever have to do it once.
Your two options:
Option 1 — Quick (Bitcoin): Already use Coinbase, Gemini, CashApp, or Venmo? You can pay me in Bitcoin with the app you have with no setup, no extra apps. Private enough for most, though transactions are technically viewable on public ledgers.
Option 2 — Best (Zcash, fully shielded): Want payments that even the blockchain can't see? Zcash is a "privacy coin.” Unlike Bitcoin (which works like a public ledger, think Venmo-for-the-world), Zcash uses encryption to make payments truly unobservable. Ten minutes of setup buys you permanent financial privacy, for me and for anyone else you'd rather keep off your records.
Setting up Zcash in 4 steps:
Buy crypto in whatever app you already have (Coinbase, Gemini, CashApp, or Venmo). Any crypto works; you just need a crypto balance.
Install the free Zodl Wallet (App Store or Play Store). It's the safest way to hold and send Zcash. Send your Zcash from your original wallet to your Zodl wallet address.
Swap & receive: Use Zodl's built-in Swap feature to convert your crypto into shielded Zcash, straight into your Zodl wallet.
Pay me: Email me for my Zodl wallet address, then send your payment. Make sure you “shield” your Zcash balance first in the Zodl wallet to be able to send. Done. Nobody sees it but us.
